Limits and quotas

Browser sessions and API keys share their account’s quotas. Check this month’s remaining uploads and bytes in usage settings or GET /api/account/usage.

The maximum archive is 512 MiB, subject to your available upload bytes. The server’s expanded archive budget is 2 GiB. Original bytes go directly to a signed object-storage URL. Do not send a base64 archive or a large JSON request to the website.

A duplicate valid snapshot returns the first published version without consuming upload quota again. Validation failures publish nothing. Transport and capacity errors are separate from protocol errors and scientific assessments.
